| Be sure to transport your dog safely - in a secure and properly constructed cage (if accessible).
As you load your car, you must leave plenty of room for your pet, making it more comfortable and relaxed on the way to their new home.
You must not transport your pet in a closed boot, loose in the front foot well of the car or in the removals van.
Moreover, if you are travelling a long distance and take a break, NEVER leave your pet inside a hot car and always ensure the car is well ventilated.
With cats, make sure they are indoors before the removals commence. If they’re outside, you may not be able to get them in by the time you have to leave your old home for the new one. We also recommend using a calming pheromone spray for your cat. |
